Get started developing for Nintendo Switch 2 with Unreal Engine.
Access to the Unreal Engine Nintendo Switch 2 documentation is available without additional cost or licensing to any Unreal Engine developer who has met all NDA requirements and been granted the necessary permissions.
To gain access to Nintendo Switch 2 documentation:
If your company has already completed the console request process, ask your administrator to grant you Nintendo Switch 2 access from the Unreal Engine > Consoles page on the Epic Developer Portal.
If your company or you have not already begun the console request process then submit a first time or additional access request at forms.unrealengine.com/s/form-console-access-request.
You will need to provide confirmation of you or your company’s approved Nintendo Switch 2 developer status and may need to accept an Epic Games Console NDA. Epic staff will guide you through the process.
Console documentation is not currently provided on the UE documentation site. Instead it is available for download from a thread on the private Switch 2 Development forum for Unreal Engine.
