Use the head controls to blend, transform, sculpt, or conform your character’s head and shape their facial features to the desired likeness.
To customize the body, navigate to the Head tool in the ribbon menu.
From the Head tool you can adjust the body using:
Blend Controls: Blend between three presets, in local regions or globally across the body.
Transform Controls: Make broad adjustments to the position of your character’s facial features.
Sculpt Controls: Make fine adjustments to a smaller area of your character’s face.
Conform Controls: Create a head by importing a DNA file, using a static or skeletal mesh in the MetaHuman topology, or from a MetaHuman Identity asset.
Autorig results may be imperfect for heads outside of the database range.
Manipulator Parameters
When working with the Blend, Transform, and Sculpt controls, the behavior of the manipulators can be changed. The available options are:
Size: Size of the visual markers.
Speed: Influences the speed of the marker manipulation.
Hide While Dragging: Hides the visual markers during marker manipulation.
Head Parameters
When working with the Blend, Transform, and Sculpt controls, some additional parameters control the modelling behavior. These are:
Global Delta: When conforming meshes, the underlying face model cannot represent the input data perfectly, and the remaining residual is represented as vertex delta. The slider can be used to define whether to apply the vertex delta.
Head Scale: Changes the global scale of the head relative to the body.
Reset Head Parameters: Resets the face parameters to the archetype.
Align Neck to Body: Resets the neck area to match the body model.
