You can import Substance material (SBSAR) files that you or other designers create, or that you download from the Adobe Substance 3D Assets and Adobe Substance 3D Community Assets libraries, into Twinmotion.
The Adobe Substance 3D category in the Twinmotion Library contains a selection of free Substance materials you can use. You can also access the Substance materials in the Adobe Substance 3D Assets and Adobe Substance 3D Community Assets libraries directly from within Twinmotion. To import Substance materials, follow these steps:
Open the Materials dock by clicking Materials in the Footer.
To change the material type to Substance, in the Materials dock click the lower-right triangle on the Add icon.
In the menu that opens, click Substance.
In the Substance dialog box, click Open.
In the Open file window, navigate to the folder that contains the Substance file you want to import.
Select the Substance file and click Open.
In the Substance window, under Options, select the importing options for the Substance file. For more information about the options, see Import Options.
Click OK. The Substance file is imported into Twinmotion and appears in the Materials dock.

Resolution | The size of the texture maps that are generated when you import a Substance material into Twinmotion. By default, the value is 2048 (2K). If you select another value, the new resolution becomes the default value the next time you import a Substance material. Options: 256, 512, 1024, 2048 (2K), 4096 (4K) |
Material type | Defines the material type of the Substance material being imported. Options: Standard, Glass, Subsurface, Fabric |
