Focus Mode
The focus mode determines which object is prioritized for focus, making it appear sharper in the images. It can be set to auto, manual, or locked.
Hiding the footer menu does not affect your focus settings.
Auto Focus
Auto Focus mode, enabled by default, is indicated by the letter 'A' inside the "Focus" icon in the footer menu. It automatically identifies and focuses on an object, making it sharper than the surrounding areas in the camera view. The focus widget will appear at the spot where the focus is currently set.
Manual Focus
Tapping the "Focus" icon in the footer menu displays a focus slider, allowing you to adjust the depth of field. Drag the slider to the left for macro focus or to the right for landscape focus. Adjusting the slider manually activates Manual Focus mode, changing the letter in the "Focus" icon to 'M.'
To revert back to the Auto Focus mode, just tap the "Focus" icon again.
Locked Focus
Tapping the screen inside the camera view while in Auto Focus mode will focus the camera onto the tapped spot, and by tapping the lock icon in the focus widget, you can lock the focus to the tapped distance.
The Locked Focus mode is indicated by a lock symbol in the "Focus" icon and the yellow lock icon in the focus widget.
Exposure Settings
Tapping the "Exposure" icon opens additional settings, where you can use sliders to adjust the shutter speed on the left and the ISO value on the right.
Hiding the footer menu does not affect your exposure settings.
Auto Exposure
Auto Exposure mode is enabled by default and indicated by the letter 'A' inside the "Exposure" icon in the footer menu. It automatically adjusts exposure settings based on the camera view.
Manual Exposure
Tapping the "Exposure" icon in the footer menu displays two sliders: the left slider for adjusting the shutter speed and the right slider for adjusting the ISO. Adjusting either slider automatically activates Manual Exposure mode, changing the letter in the "Exposure" icon to 'M.'
To revert back to the Auto Exposure mode, just tap the "Exposure" icon again.
Locked Exposure
Tapping the screen in the camera view while in Auto Exposure mode adjusts the exposure based on the selected spot. You can lock the exposure values by tapping the lock icon in the exposure widget.
The Locked Exposure mode is indicated by a lock symbol in the "Exposure" icon and the yellow lock icon in the exposure widget.
White Balance
The color temperature of the images is determined by the white balance, which can be set automatically or locked by pointing the camera at a white or gray surface near the object you wish to model
Auto White Balance
Auto White Balance mode, enabled by default, is shown as "AUTO" inside the "White Balance" icon in the footer menu. It automatically adjusts the white balance according to the current camera view.
Locked White Balance
When you tap the "White Balance" icon, the screen changes, allowing you to fill the preview area with a white or light gray surface of your choice. Once you tap "Confirm," the new White Balance will be locked to the selected surface in the preview area. When locked, a lock symbol will be shown in the "White Balance" icon.
To revert back to Auto White Balance mode, tap the "White Balance" icon in the footer menu.
