Capture Screen
When you start a new project, you're taken to the capture screen. There, you can take images of your object and initialize the model creation process. The image limit is set to 300 images.
Here's what you'll find on the screen:
1 | Quick Start Guide | Open the Quick Start Guide. |
2 | Application settings | Access the application settings. |
3 | Footer menu | Hide or display the footer menu. The available tools adjust based on the scanning mode selected in the application settings. |
4 | Images | Image counter; tap to view images. |
5 | Auto-capture toggle | Enable or disable the auto-capture. Available only with the AR Guidance. |
6 | Capture button | Tap to capture an image. If auto-capture is enabled, use it to pause the capturing. |
7 | Next step | Go to the next step to review your scene. |
AR Guidance Mode
In AR Guidance mode, you can use the options available in the footer menu to show or hide different elements in the camera view.
1 | Images | Toggle the visibility of the image thumbnails in the camera view. It is usable only after capturing images. |
2 | Point cloud | Toggle the point cloud visibility in the camera view if images have been analyzed. |
Camera Control Mode
In Camera Control mode, the point cloud cannot be displayed in the AR view, but it offers more control over the camera settings. Auto-capture is also not available.
1 | Focus | Set the focus of the camera. |
2 | Exposure | Adjust the shutter speed and the ISO value. |
3 | White balance | Adjust the white balance based on the filled-in preview area. |
4 | Flash | Turn the flash on or off while capturing images. |
