STAR WARS Sound Effects
Bring next-level immersion to your game with over 230 sound effects, from environmental ambience to lightsaber hums to Jawa vocalizations, and many more to add to your STAR WARS islands.
You can add these sounds to your island with tools like the Audio Player device and audio tracks in Sequencer.
The STAR WARS Brand Rules have been updated to include the new sound effects.
New Items and Vehicle Exposure
Standard Mandalorian Jetpack: A standard variant of the Enhanced Mandalorian Jetpack for hovering and moving above ground for a short period. Create varying gameplay between the two jet packs.
Vehicle Exposure: The X-wing and Armored Assault Tank (AAT) are now available in the Star Wars Vehicle Gallery. In UEFN, the assets are also available in the Cinematic Vehicles folder, and come with components for animating in Sequencer.
Debug Commands
We’ve added more commands to help you efficiently debug your projects. Here’s what's new in 40.10:
Flight Phasing: Enables or disables collisions while you are in flight mode. Flight is enabled separately.
Flight Speed: Update your flight speed while you are in flight mode. Flight is enabled separately.
Set Shield: Set shield value based on max percentage. Shields are enabled separately.
Voice Chat Upgrade
New island options have been added to enable higher levels of player immersion with Game Chat. In addition to Attenuation, you can now enable and tune:
Spatialization: Voices emit from player characters in the game world.
Occlusion: Spatialized voices become quieter when an obstacle is between the speaker and the listener.
Focused Listening: Spatialized voices are louder in front of the listener than to the side or behind.
Sponsored Row Update: Pause Without Canceling Campaigns
You can now publish new versions of your island without automatically canceling active or scheduled Sponsored Row campaigns.
With Campaign Version Continuity:
Publishing a new island version does not cancel your campaign.
Active campaigns are paused during Ad Policy review or campaign payment failures.
If approved, your campaign reactivates.
If rejected, your campaign remains paused until a compliant release is approved.
