Performer Framing
The position of the camera should be fixed throughout each take to ensure consistent data. This is especially true when using MetaHuman Head Tracking.
The performer should be positioned center frame with their face parallel and facing the camera is usually preferable.
To maintain high animation fidelity the performer should not rotate to the point that their outer eyebrow or the corner of their mouth is obscured from capture, approximately 30 degree cutoff.
Below are examples of framing that are likely to produce poor quality results.

Lighting
Ideal lighting is flat with no shadows. If ambient lighting is insufficient, additional lights can be added to produce frontal lighting that will illuminate the correct portions of the face. It is advisable to maintain a fixed frontal light when ambient lighting is inconsistent to ensure a stable capture.
