Neutral Pose editing lets the user edit the Neutral Pose mesh and joint positions. Work only needs to be performed on LOD0, then users can choose to automatically transfer the edits to all lower LODs.
Neutral Pose editing was already possible for users of DNA Calib v1, but required they developed their own tooling and would intuit the layout of the resulting scene; propagating modifications across LODs required more tooling again on the user side.
The above is now all included in Expression Editor in Neutral Pose Editing Mode.
Automatic Neck RBF Setup Updates
Previously, changing the position and orientation of the main three neck joints (neck_01, neck_02, head) was not recommended. You could change them, but these joints are the drivers for all RBF corrective poses for the neck, so changing them disrupted the proper activation of those correctives. The workaround was to directly write new values for neck RBF setup inputs into a DNA file, which was not intuitive and often caused errors.
Now, as part of changing the neutral meshes and joints, you can also change main neck joints. Everything is automatically recalculated, including the entire RBF setup for the neck and all "head turns" expressions for Expressions Editing mode.
