Use the Teeth and Eyelashes tool to customize your MetaHuman character’s teeth and eyelashes. Fine-tune individual control points for the teeth and choose from presets for the eyelashes.
The tool is available from the Head and Body tool category in MetaHuman Creator.
Using the Tool
The tool opens the Model property with the Teeth and Eyelashes tabs. You can preview each adjustment live in the viewport.
The top of the Teeth tab shows a visual representation of the teeth with ten control points. Each control point maps to a setting in the dropdown.
Adjust the controls until the teeth look the way you want, then use the Jaw Open slider to check the result with the mouth open, partially open, or closed.
Next, choose an eyelash preset and whether to render it with grooms or cards. Learn more about individual properties in the Tool Settings section of this page.
Workflow Tips
The materials for the teeth and eyelashes are not adjusted here. You set them from the Materials tool category instead.
Tool Settings
Customize the various properties for Teeth and Eyelashes.
Teeth
Use the Teeth tab to design your character's teeth with controls like tooth length and overbite. The top section is a visual representation of the teeth with ten control points, each corresponding to a setting in the dropdown.
You can adjust the points two ways:
Drag the slider to the setting you want.
Click a parameter slider to enter a value manually.
The control points automatically adjust the style dropdown as you click them, showing the numerical value.

Variation | Applies variation for the overall style of the teeth. Numerical value adjustment ranges from 0 to 1, where 0 equals uniformity. |
Jaw Open | Previews what your MetaHuman’s teeth look like when the mouth is open, partially open, or closed. Numerical value adjustment ranges from 0 to 1. |
Eyelashes
The Eyelashes tab contains eyelash presets with a groom. Click a preset to apply it to your character.
Eyelashes can be applied from either this section while modeling the head or from the Hair and Clothing tool.
Eyelashes applied from this section while modeling the head are applied as a groom and cards, with some information also written into the head DNA file (created during assembly). Selecting an eyelash style here will be reflected in the character’s wardrobe. Materials for these card-based eyelashes can be adjusted in the Materials tool.
Eyelashes applied from the Hair & Clothing tool are treated as separate assets and not stored in the head DNA file. Selecting an eyelash style in the Wardrobe will not be reflected in the Head Controls. Materials for these eyelashes can be adjusted as overrides or by changing the underlying asset.
