The Blend tool combines up to three selected presets to reshape your character's body and facial features. Blend presets by global body or head regions, or locally. You can blend skeletal proportions, shaping, or both.
The Blend tool is available from the Head and Body tool category in MetaHuman Creator (MHC).
Using the Tool
The general workflow for using the tool is as follows:
Select presets to blend.
Use the viewport controls to blend features.
Use the additional Head and Body tools to make further adjustments.
For presets, you can choose one or two to blend with the current MetaHuman character, or choose three presets to morph together.
If you have already used one of the Head and Body tools to modify your character, blending gradually overwrites your changes. The further you move a control point away from the center toward an influence point, the less your original edits or sculpts remain. Returning a control point to the center does not restore your previous modifications.

Preset Selection
To add a preset to the Blend Preset Selection, drag the thumbnail from the available presets onto one of the three slots on the influence circle.
Add a new preset using one of the following methods:
Click the New Preset button to save the current character state as a new preset.
Drag a MetaHuman Character asset from the Content Browser into the preset box. Using custom characters as blend presets provides a broader range of character variation and supports more customized results.
You can save new designs as presets. To remove a preset, right-click it and select Remove Asset.
To toggle the preset thumbnail between body and head, click the blue icon at the top right of the thumbnail. To toggle viewport focus between body and head, click the camera icons in the silhouette.
Viewport Blend Controls
The viewport automatically displays a series of control points on your character.
Click and drag the control points to move them between the assigned presets. As a control point moves closer to a preset, that preset's features blend with your character.
You can use the SHIFT hotkey for global adjustments:
Hold SHIFT before you select a body control point to start a global body blend across all control points.
Hold SHIFT before you select a head control point to start a global head blend across all control points.
To change the blending effects, adjust the Blend Space property for the head and body.
