After exporting your animation from the MetaHuman Performance editor, you can assign it to a MetaHuman in a level sequence to see the result. If you haven't assembled a MetaHuman in your project yet, see 1. Import Your Footage before continuing.
Set Up a Level Sequence
To create the level sequence:
In the Content Browser, right-click and select Cinematics > Level Sequence.
Double-click the asset to open Sequencer.
Drag the Blueprint of your MetaHuman from the Content Browser into the level. Keep the actor selected.
In Sequencer, click Add > Add Actor Track and choose your MetaHuman from the list.
Sequencer adds body and face tracks for the MetaHuman actor.
Assign the Animation
To assign the capture animation to your MetaHuman:
In Sequencer, delete the ControlRig track from both the body and the face section.
On the Body track, click the plus (+) icon and choose Animation > [Your Animation Sequence].
If you processed face and body animation together, click the plus icon (+) next to the face track and choose the same Animation Sequence.
Press Play to preview the result.
Your animation is ready to use. You can adjust timing and refine the result in Sequencer, or use the animation sequence in your project's character animation Blueprint.
