이 퀵스타트 가이드에서는 게임플레이 카메라 시스템(Gameplay Camera System) 을 사용하여 세 가지 카메라 릭을 만드는 방법을 안내합니다. 이러한 카메라 릭은 언리얼 엔진에 포함된 템플릿에서 다음 카메라 구성을 리플리케이트합니다.

필수 구성

  1. 새 프로젝트를 생성하고 게임(Games) 카테고리에서 삼인칭(Third Person) 템플릿을 선택합니다.
    • 프로젝트의 위치(Location) 및 이름(name) 을 입력합니다.
    • 생성(Create) 을 클릭합니다.

  2. 세팅(Settings) > 플러그인(Plugins) 을 클릭하여 플러그인(Plugins) 창을 엽니다.
    • Gameplay Camera 플러그인을 검색하여 활성화 합니다. 필요하면 에디터를 재시작합니다.

  3. 에디터에서 파일(File) > 새 레벨(New Level) 을 클릭합니다.
    • 기본(Basic) 템플릿을 선택하고 생성(Create) 을 클릭합니다.

카메라 에셋 생성하기

카메라 에셋(Camera Asset) 은 게임플레이 도중 활성 카메라 릭을 결정하는 데 사용되는 하나 이상의 카메라 릭(Camera Rig), 트랜지션(transition), 카메라 디렉터(Camera Director) 에 대한 정보를 포함합니다.

카메라 에셋을 생성하는 단계는 다음과 같습니다.

  1. 콘텐츠 브라우저(Content Browser) 에서 우클릭하고 게임플레이(Gameplay) > 카메라 에셋(Camera Asset) 을 선택합니다.

  2. 카메라 디렉터 타입 선택(Pick Camera Director Type) 창에서 블루프린트 카메라 디렉터(Blueprint Camera Director) 를 선택하고 선택(Select) 을 클릭합니다.

  3. 에셋을 CA_PlayerCameras 로 명명합니다.

1인칭 카메라 릭

  1. CA_PlayerCameras 를 열고 툴바에서 릭(Rigs) 을 클릭하여 이용 가능한 카메라 릭을 확인합니다.

  2. 디폴트 릭의 이름을 FirstPerson 으로 변경합니다.

    Open CA_PlayerCameras, click Rigs and rename the default rig to FirstPerson

  3. 툴박스(Toolbox) 패널을 클릭하여 사용 가능한 노드를 확인합니다.

    Click the Toolbox panel to see the available nodes

  4. 아래와 같이 Sequence 노드와 Boom Arm 노드를 추가합니다.

  5. Boom Arm 노드를 선택한 상태로 디테일(Details) 패널로 이동하여 붐 오프셋(Boom Offset) 을 X, Y, Z에 대해 각각 50, 0, 50 으로 설정합니다.

  6. Field of View 노드를 추가하고 디테일(Details) 패널로 이동하여 필드 오브 뷰(Field of View) 를 100 으로 설정합니다.

삼인칭 카메라 릭

  1. 새 카메라 릭(Camera Rig) 을 생성하고 ThirdPerson 으로 명명합니다.

    Create a new Camera Rig and name it ThirdPerson

  2. 아래와 같이 Sequence 노드와 Boom Arm 노드를 추가합니다.

  3. Boom Arm 노드를 선택한 상태로 Details 패널로 이동하여 붐 오프셋(Boom Offset) 을 X, Y, Z에 대해 각각 -500, 0, 50 으로 설정합니다.

  4. Input Slot 핀에서 드래그하고 입력 축 바인딩 2D(Input Axis Binding 2D) 를 선택합니다. 그러면 블루프린트에 InputSlot이 노출되어 나중에 수정할 수 있습니다.

  5. 디테일(Details) 패널로 이동하여 IA_Look 축 액션을 추가합니다.
    • 범위제한 Y 최소(Clamp Y Min) 및 최대(Max) 체크박스를 활성화 하고 -80 및 10 을 최소값(Min Value) 및 최대값(Max Value) 으로 각각 입력합니다.

    • Y축 되돌리기(Revert Axis Y) 체크박스를 활성화 합니다.

      Add the IA_Look Axis Action, enter -80 and 10 to the Clamp Y Min and Max checkboxes, and Enable the Revert Axis Y checkbox

  6. BoomOffset 핀에서 드래그하고 카메라 릭 파라미터(Camera Rig Parameter) 를 클릭하여 이 변수를 블루프린트에 노출합니다.

    Drag from the BoomOffset pin and click Camera Rig Parameter to expose this variable to Blueprints

  7. Field of View 노드 및 Dampen Position 노드를 추가합니다. 그런 다음 Dampen Position 노드를 선택한 상태로 디테일 패널로 이동하여 전방 댐핑 인수(Forward Damping Factor) 에 5 를 입력합니다.

  8. Occlusion Material 노드를 추가하고 디테일 패널로 이동하여 오클루전 투명 머티리얼(Occlusion Transparency Material) 드롭다운에서 머티리얼을 선택합니다. 아래 예시에서는 이 예시에 사용된 반투명 머티리얼을 볼 수 있습니다.

톱다운 카메라 릭

  1. 새 카메라 릭(Camera Rig) 을 생성하고 TopDown 으로 명명합니다.

  2. 아래와 같이 Sequence 노드와 Boom Arm 노드를 추가합니다. Boom Arm 노드를 선택한 상태로 Details 패널로 이동하여 붐 오프셋(Boom Offset) 을 X, Y, Z에 대해 각각 -1000, 0, 0 으로 설정합니다.

  3. Field of View 및 Dampen Position 노드를 추가합니다. 그런 다음 Dampen Position 노드를 선택한 상태로 디테일 패널로 이동하여 전방 댐핑 인수(Forward Damping Factor) 에 5 를 입력합니다.

  4. Occlusion Material 노드를 추가하고 디테일 패널로 이동하여 오클루전 투명 머티리얼(Occlusion Transparency Material) 드롭다운에서 머티리얼을 선택합니다. 삼인칭 카메라 릭(Third Person Camera Rig) 에 사용한 것과 동일한 머티리얼을 사용합니다.

카메라 디렉터

  1. 디렉터(Director) 탭으로 이동하여 디렉터 버튼을 클릭합니다.

  2. + 를 클릭하여 새 디렉터 블루프린트(Director Blueprint) 를 생성합니다.

  3. 대상 폴더(destination folder) 를 선택하고 이름 CDE_PlayerCameras 를 입력한 다음 저장(Save) 을 클릭합니다.

  4. 빌드(Build) 를 클릭합니다.

카메라 트랜지션 생성

이 섹션에서는 이전 섹션에서 생성한 카메라 릭에 대한 트랜지션을 생성합니다.

카메라 릭 트랜지션을 생성하는 단계는 다음과 같습니다.

  1. 일인칭 카메라 릭(First Person Camera Rig) 을 열고 트랜지션(Transitions) 을 클릭합니다.
    • Exit Transitions 0 핀에서 드래그하고 나가기 트랜지션(Exit Transition) 을 선택합니다.
    • Camera Rig Transition 노드의 Blend 핀에서 드래그하여 스무스 블렌드(Smooth Blend) 를 선택합니다.
    Open the First Person Camera Rig and click Transitions Drag from Exit Transitions 0 pin and select Exit Transition, then drag from the Blend pin and select Smooth Blend

  2. 삼인칭(Third Person) 및 톱다운(Top Down) 카메라 릭에 대해 위 단계를 반복합니다.

플레이어에 게임플레이 카메라 컴포넌트 추가하기

플레이어에 게임플레이 카메라 컴포넌트(Gameplay Camera component) 를 추가하는 단계는 다음과 같습니다.

  1. 콘텐츠 브라우저(Content Browser) 에서 삼인칭(ThirdPerson) > 블루프린트(Blueprints) 로 이동한 다음 BP_ThirdPersonCharacter 를 클릭하여 블루프린트를 엽니다.

  2. 컴포넌트(Components) 창으로 이동하여 CameraBoom 및 FollowCamera 컴포넌트를 삭제합니다.

  3. +추가(Add) 를 클릭하고 게임플레이 카메라(GameplayCamera) 를 선택하여 컴포넌트를 추가합니다.
    • 디테일 패널로 이동하여 카메라(Camera) 섹션까지 아래로 스크롤한 다음 카메라 드롭다운에 CA_PlayerCameras 를 추가합니다.
    • 활성화(Activation) 섹션으로 이동하여 자동 활성화(Auto Activate) 체크박스를 활성화 합니다. 그런 다음 플레이어에 대해 자동 활성화(Auto Activate for Player) 드롭다운에서 플레이어 0(Player 0) 을 선택합니다.
    Click +Add and search for then select GameplayCamera to add the component Add CA_PlayerCameras to the Camera dropdown and enable the Auto Activate checkbox, then select Player 0 from the Auto Activate for Player dropdown
  4. 이벤트 그래프(Event Graph) 로 이동하여 키보드 숫자 1, 2, 3 에 대해 3개의 입력 이벤트 를 추가합니다.
    • 새 인티저 변수(integer variable) 를 생성하고 ActiveCameraRig 으로 명명합니다.
    • 이벤트 그래프 로 변수를 드래그하고 활성 카메라 릭 설정(Set Active Camera Rig) 을 선택하여 첫 번째 키보드 이벤트에 연결합니다.
    • 이를 나머지 두 이벤트에 대해서도 반복하고 아래와 같이 각 값을 0, 1, 2 로 설정합니다.
    Go to the Event Graph and add three input events for the numbers 1, 2, and 3 on your keyboard, then select Set Active Camera Rig and connect it to the keyboard events

    이 변수의 값은 나중에 게임플레이 도중 활성 상태 카메라 릭을 결정하는 데 사용됩니다.

  5. 이벤트 그래프 에서 마우스 휠 위로(Mouse Wheel Up) 및 마우스 휠 아래로(Mouse Wheel Down) 입력 이벤트를 추가합니다.
    • BoomLength 라는 플로트 변수를 생성하고 디폴트 값 을 -500 으로 설정합니다.
    • BoomZoomStep 이라는 플로트 변수를 생성하고 디폴트 값 을 25 로 설정합니다.

  6. 아래와 같이 BoomLength 및 BoomZoomStep 노드를 이벤트 그래프 에 추가합니다.

    • 마우스 휠 위로 에서 Boom Zoom Step 을 Boom Length 에 더합니다.
    • 반대로 마우스 휠 아래로 에서는 Boom Zoom Step 을 Boom Length 에서 뺍니다.

    그러면 마우스 휠을 위로 할 때 카메라가 줌인되고, 휠을 아래로 하면 카메라가 줌아웃됩니다.

  7. GameplayCamera 컴포넌트를 이벤트 그래프 에 드래그하여 노드를 생성합니다.
    • GameplayCamera 노드에서 드래그한 다음 Get Initial Variable Table 을 검색하여 선택합니다.

  8. Get Initial Variable Table 노드의 Return Value 핀에서 드래그하여 Set Camera Rig Parameters 를 선택합니다.
    • CA_PlayerCameras 를 선택하고 ThirdPerson 릭을 클릭합니다.
    • Set BoomLength 노드를 Set Camera Rig Parameters 노드에 연결합니다.

  9. Boom Offset 핀을 우클릭하고 구조체 핀 분할(Split Struct Pin) 을 선택한 다음 Boom Length 변수를 Boom Offset X 핀에 연결합니다.

  10. 마우스 휠 아래로 입력 이벤트에 대해서도 위 단계를 반복합니다. 아래에서 최종 블루프린트 코드를 확인할 수 있습니다.

카메라 디렉터 환경설정하기

카메라 디렉터를 환경설정하는 단계는 다음과 같습니다.

  1. CDE_PlayerCameras 를 열고 이벤트 그래프 에서 우클릭합니다.
    • Find Evaluation Context Owner Actor 를 검색하여 선택합니다.
    • 드롭다운을 클릭하고 BP_ThirdPersonCharacter 를 선택합니다.
    Search for then select Find Evaluation Context Owner Actor and click the dropdown and select BP_ThirdPersonCharacter
  2. Find Evaluation Context Owner Actor 노드의 Return Value 핀에서 드래그하고 Get Active Camera Rig 을 검색하여 선택합니다.
    • Active Camera Rig 노드에서 드래그하고 Switch on Int 를 검색하여 선택합니다.
    • 핀 추가(Add Pin) + 를 세 번 눌러서 0, 1, 2 핀을 추가합니다.

  3. Switch on Int 노드의 0 핀에서 드래그하고 Activate Camera Rig 을 검색하여 선택합니다.
    • 카메라 릭(Camera Rig) 드롭다운을 클릭하고 삼인칭(ThirdPerson) 을 선택합니다.

  4. Activate Camera Rig 노드를 두 개 더 추가하고 Switch on Int 노드의 1 및 2 핀에 연결합니다.
    • 카메라 릭 드롭다운을 아래와 같이 일인칭(FirstPerson) 및 톱다운(TopDown) 으로 설정합니다.

    • 새 회전 Y(피치)(New Rotation Y (Pitch)) 를 -50 으로 설정합니다.
    • Activate Camera Rig 노드를 아래와 같이 Set Control Rotation 노드에 연결합니다.

  6. 플레이(Play) 를 눌러 게임플레이 카메라 시스템을 테스트합니다. 1~3 키 를 눌러 카메라 릭 간을 전환하고 삼인칭 카메라 릭 사용 시 마우스 휠 을 사용하여 줌인 및 줌아웃합니다.
