Multiple control devices can be present at any time, but only the one with the highest priority is considered active.

Add to Players on Start

Determines whether this device is automatically added to all players when the game starts.

Remove on Elimination

On, Off

Determines whether this control device is removed from a player when they are eliminated.

Enabled During Phase

None, Always, Pre-Game Only, Gameplay Only

Determines which phases the control device is active in. If you choose None, the camera can only be enabled manually using events.

Constrain Movement

On, Off

When set to On, player movement is constrained to the direction indicated by the arrow on the device itself.

Jump

Disabled, Dedicated, Movement

Determines whether jumping is enabled, and if so what controls players use to jump. Select Dedicated to have players use the default jump control. Select Movement to have players use the Up control to jump.

Crouch

Disabled, Dedicated, Movement

Determines whether crouching is enabled, and if so what controls player use to crouch. Select Dedicated to have players use the default crouch control. Select Movement to have players use the Down control to crouch.

Ranged Direction

Facing, Cardinal Movement, Full Range Movement, Full Range Manual

Determines how the player aims while in side scroller mode. Values included are:

• Facing: Uses the direction the player is facing to aim.

• Cardinal Movement: Players can use the Up/Down/Left/Right controls to aim in those directions.

• Full Range Movement: Uses the direction the player is moving to aim. So if the player is holding forward and up, they will aim forward and up.

• Full Range Manual: Players aim using the mouse or right stick similar to a twin stick shooter.

Lock Direction While Aiming

If this is set to On, the player's facing direction is locked when they are aiming.

If this is set to On, the player's facing direction is locked when they are shooting.

Movement Speed Multiplier

Determines how fast the player moves, as a multiple of the default speed.

Determines how fast the player moves while shooting, as a multiple of the default speed.

Movement Speed Multiplier When Aiming

Determines how fast the player moves while aiming, as a multiple of the default speed.

Targeting Lock On

When the player has a target, this determines when the player aims toward that target.

Target Retention Duration

Determines the amount of seconds a player will attempt to face their target after each ranged action.
