In front of the player are two buttons on a wall. The first button spawns a hoard of creatures that start running towards them. The player eliminates all the creatures and goes back to the wall and presses the second button, a new wave of different creatures comes running towards them.

In this example the Pueblo gallery pieces were used to create a wall to place the button devices on. You can use whichever gallery wall pieces you want on your island.

Placing Gallery Pieces
Press Tab to enter the Creative Inventory.
Click Gallery > Pueblo, click Open, then select the wall piece and click Equip.
Repeat the process to add the Pueblo archways to the Quick Bar.
Click Place Now to return to Create mode and place the wall pieces.
Placing Trap Devices
Press Tab to go into the Creative Inventory.
Click Devices > Team Settings & Inventory > Equip to add the Team Settings & Inventory device to your Quick Bar.
Press Y to place the Team Settings & Inventory device beside the Pueblo wall.
Add weapons to the Team Settings & Inventory device by standing on the device and pressing Tab > Weapons tab to go back into the Creative Inventory.
Select the weapons you want the player to have and click Equip after every weapon selection to add them to the the Quick Bar.
Left-click and drag each weapon from the Quick Bar until the backpack icon appears, then release.

Each of the devices you need for this gameplay example is described below.
Placing Creature Spawner Devices
Press Tab to go into the Creative Inventory.
Click Devices > Creature Placer device to add the Player Spawn Pad to your Quick Bar. Continue to add the following devices from the device menu:

Creature Spawner device
Click Place Now to place the first Creature Spawner device.
Each wave of monsters behaves differently due to the option settings in the Creature Spawner
Press E > Settings Icon when close to the creature spawner to rename the Creature Spawner, “ Summon Cube Creatures”.
Modify the Creature Spawner options to the following:

When the device receives a signal from the first Button device on Channel 1 it begins spawning creatures.

When the device receives a signal from the second Button device on Channel 2 it disables the device and causes the device to destroy itself.
The first Creature Spawner sends the first wave of cube creatures, once all creatures are destroyed the spawner destroys itself. The player can also damage and destroy the spawner.
Place two more Creature Spawners and rename them so you can tell them apart: Summon Ice Creatures and Summon Poison Creatures.
Modify the Summon Ice Creatures options to the following:

The second Creature Spawner does not spawn at the start of the game.

The second Creature Spawner begins to spawn creatures when it receives a signal from the second Button device on Channel 2.
Disable When receiving From
Channel 1
Disables the second Creature Spawner when it receives a signal from the first Button device on Channel 1 if the player hits the button again while the spawner is enabled.
Eliminate Creatures When Receiving From
Channel 3
Eliminates all creatures when receiving a signal from the Creature Placer device.
Destroy Spawner When Receiving From
Channel 3
Destroys the spawner when receiving a signal from the Creature Placer on Channel 3.
The second wave releases ice creatures, and continues to do so until you eliminate the boss creature, which destroys the spawner and any remaining creatures.
Modify the following options for the third Creature Spawner:

Spawner destroys itself when receiving a signal from the Timed Objective device on Channel 4.
The third spawner is invisible and eliminates itself and all poison creatures spawned when the timer expires and the player has survived the round.
Placing the Creature Placer Device
Select the Creature Placer device from the Quick Bar and place inside the second Creature Spawner’s border.
Modify the Creature Placer device options to the following:

Placing Timed Objective Devices
Place the Timed Objective device beside the Team Settings & Inventory device.
Modify the Timed Objective device options to the following:

Start When Receiving From
Channel 3
When the Timed Objective device receives a signal from the Creature Placer on Channel 3 it starts the timer.
When Completed Transmit On

Transmits a signal to the third Creature Spawner device on Channel 4 which results in destroying the third creature spawner.
Placing Button Devices
Select the Button device from the Quick Bar and place one button on the Pueblo wall over top of the Team Settings & Inventory device.
Modify the Button device options to the following:

When the player presses E, the Button device sends a signal to the first Creature Spawner to start spawning creatures.

Copy the button and paste on the wall next to the first one.
Change the Interaction Text option to Button 2.
Change the When Interacted With Transmit On option to Channel 2.
Placing the Player Spawn Pad Device
Select the Player Spawn Pad from the Quick Bar and placed into the center of the Team Settings & Inventory device.
Modify the Player Spawn Pad option Visible During Games to No.
Playing Your Game
After learning the different settings on the Creature Spawner device you can create waves of creatures for your island experience. Combine the Creature Spawner and Creature Placer devices with the Random Number Generator device to randomly spawn creatures, or with the Trigger device to spawn creatures when the Player sets off the trigger during a chain of events.
