note grid

An area in a Patchwork note-generating device where you can select notes. Laid out in a grid pattern, the rows represent pitches (notes) and the columns represent steps in time, with the step rate control on the device defining how fast it moves through those steps.  This is basically any device in Patchwork that takes input from a note generator, modifies it, then outputs it. An example is the Note Progressor.
