Al crear o editar la geometría de un nivel, es posible que tengas que realizar tareas repetitivas. Puedes usar utilidades de acción para que este tipo de tareas repetitivas te resulten menos tediosas. También puedes combinar utilidades de acción con secuenciación de comandos de geometría para crear procesos de trabajo de edición de mallas eficientes. Puedes crear acciones de clic derecho que te ayuden a cambiar rápidamente el estilo de las mallas, recalcular UV, ajustar las ubicaciones de los puntos de traslación y mucho más.
Esta guía explica cómo:
Crear utilidades de acción programadas para ayudarte a automatizar tareas.
Configurar nodos básicos de secuenciación de comandos de geometría.
* Usar secuenciación de comandos de geometría para crear una utilidad que reduzca la densidad de los triángulos en una malla.
Aunque esta guía se centra en simplificar (reducir el número de triángulos) una malla, puedes usar la secuencia de comandos como plantilla para crear procesos de trabajo más complejos.
Conocimientos previos necesarios
Para poder entender y usar el contenido de esta página, debes:
Tener conocimientos básicos de blueprints.
Estar familiarizado con el tema de introducción a la secuenciación de comandos de geometría, en concreto con los nuevos tipos de objeto presentados.
* Comprender el uso de las utilidades de acción programables y cómo aplicarlas contextualmente.
Puedes usar cualquier proyecto para realizar el seguimiento. Para crear una geometría proxy con fines de prueba, utiliza una de las formas primarias del modo de modelado. Para saber más sobre este modo del editor, consulta la sección Descripción general del modo de modelado.
Cómo habilitar el complemento
La secuenciación de comandos de geometría requiere que el complemento asociado esté habilitado.
Para habilitar el complemento o comprobar si ya lo está:
- En la barra de menús, haz clic en Editar > Complementos.

En la barra de búsqueda, escribe «Geometry Script».
- Habilita el complemento Geometry Script y haz clic en Sí en el cuadro de cuadro de diálogo emergente.
- Reinicia el motor.
Creación de una clase de utilidad
Para empezar, debes crear una clase de blueprint para construir tu utilidad de acción. Esta guía usa la Utilidad de acción de actor para hacer clic derecho en los actores en el editor de niveles y llevar a cabo una acción programada. También puedes usar la Utilidad de acción de recurso para hacer clic derecho en un recurso del explorador de contenido.
Para crear la clase de utilidad:
- Desde el explorador de contenido, haz clic izquierdo o derecho en Añadir y haz clic en Utilidades del editor > Blueprint de utilidad del editor.
- Busca y haz clic en Utilidad de acción de actor.
- En el explorador de contenido, dale a tu nueva clase un nombre descriptivo, como
ActorAU_Simplify.
Creación de una función
Después de crear tu clase de utilidad, el siguiente paso es crear una función. El objetivo de la secuencia de comandos es simplificar una malla hasta un número de triángulos determinado.
Para crear una función:
- Haz doble clic en tu nuevo blueprint para abrirlo en el editor de blueprints.
- En el panel Mi blueprint, haz clic en el icono del signo «+» en la categoría Funciones y ponle a la función el nombre Simplificar malla. Comprueba que Llamada al editor está habilitado en el panel Detalles.
- En el panel Detalles, haz clic en el icono del signo (+) de la categoría Entradas para añadir un parámetro.
- Convierte el parámetro en un entero y llámalo Recuento de triángulos. Este parámetro de entrada activa una solicitud cuando se activa la secuencia de comandos, lo que permite a los artistas introducir una cantidad de triángulos objetivo para el método de simplificación.
- Asciende Recuento de triángulos a variable local haciendo clic derecho en su pin de salida y luego clic en *Ascender a variable local.
- Llama a la variable Recuento de triángulos.
Cómo restringirlo a una clase específica de actor
Si compilas y guardas tu blueprint y después empiezas a hacer clic derecho en los actores del nivel, es posible que veas que aparece la opción Acciones de actor programadas en el menú contextual. La secuencia de comandos está disponible para cualquier clase de actor, lo que puede generar confusión si la secuencia no está diseñada para varias clases. Para controlar a qué actores pueden afectar los artistas, puedes restringir la acción programada a una clase específica.
Para ajustar la clase admitida:
- En la barra de herramientas superior, haz clic en Valores predeterminados de clase.
- En la barra Clases admitidas, haz clic en el icono del signo más (+).

Busca y haz clic en Actor de malla estática.
- Compila (Ctrl + Alt) y guarda (Ctrl + S) el trabajo.
Configuración principal de la secuenciación de comandos de geometría
Ahora que has establecido tu secuencia de comandos con una función y una clase admitidas, puedes empezar a implementar nodos de secuenciación de comandos de geometría.
Un paso fundamental a la hora de configurar tu secuencia de comandos es crear una malla dinámica para editarla. La malla dinámica actúa como una malla temporal sobre la que puedes realizar tus operaciones antes de aplicarlas a tu malla estática. Este proceso temporal evita geometría innecesaria en el editor, lo que ayuda a ahorrar en el procesamiento informático.
Grupo de mallas dinámicas
Para crear una malla dinámica, debes solicitarla a un grupo de mallas dinámicas.
Para configurar un grupo de mallas dinámicas:
- Haz clic derecho en el grafo de eventos y crea un nodo llamado Create a Dynamic Mesh Pool.
- Conecta el pin de ejecución a la función Simplificar malla.
- Haz clic derecho en el pin de salida del Grupo de mallas dinámicas y selecciona Ascender a variable local.
- Llama a la variable DM_Pool.
- Conecta el pin de ejecución al nodo Triangle Count SET.
- Compila (Ctrl + Alt) y guarda (Ctrl + S) el trabajo.
Obtención del recurso del actor
Como la secuenciación de comandos de geometría funciona en UDynamicMesh, se necesita el recurso de malla estático del actor seleccionado. Además, por cada actor que elijas, debes garantizar que solo se opera una vez sobre los recursos de malla estática compartidos. Aunque esta función se ejecuta en base a un recuento de objetivos (para evitar operaciones duplicadas), realizará cálculos innecesarios si los actores seleccionados usan el mismo recurso de malla estática.
Para obtener un recurso de malla estático único:
- Arrastra desde el pin de ejecución de Recuento de triángulos y crea un nodo Get Selected Actors.
- Arrastra desde el pin Valor de retorno, crea un nodo For Each Loop y conecta los pines de ejecución. Estos nodos conectados iteran a través de los actores seleccionados.
- Arrastra desde el pin Elemento de matriz, crea un nodo Cast to Static Mesh Actor y conecta los pines de ejecución (Cuerpo del bucle). Cast to Static Mesh Actor garantiza que solo uses actores de malla estática.
- Arrastra desde el pin Como actor de malla estática y crea un nodo Get Static Mesh Component.
- Arrastra desde el pin del componente y crea un nodo Get Static Mesh.
- Arrastra desde el pin de malla estática y crea un nodo Add Unique. Este nodo añade cada malla estática única a una matriz.
- Conecta el pin de ejecución del nodo Cast to Static Mesh Actor a Añadir único.
- En el panel Mi blueprint, haz clic en el icono del signo (+) de la categoría Variables locales para crear una nueva variable.
- Llama a la variable SM_Array.
- En el panel Detalles, establece que el tipo de variable sea Malla estática y el tipo de contenedor Matriz.
- Arrastra la variable al grafo y haz clic en Get SM_Array para convertirla en un getter. Conecta el pin de la matriz a Añadir único.
Con la nueva lista de recursos únicos de malla estática, el bucle for habrá terminado.
Creación de una malla dinámica
Para convertir la malla en una malla dinámica:
- En For Each Loop, arrastra desde el pin de ejecución Finalizado y crea otro nodo For Each Loop.
- Arrastra la variable SM_Array al grafo y conviértela en un getter.
- Conecta la salida de la matriz al nodo For Each Loop.
- Arrastra la variable DM_Pool al grafo y conviértela en un getter.
- Arrastra desde su pin y crea un nodo Request Mesh. Este nodo extrae una malla dinámica del nodo Dynamic Mesh Pool que creaste antes.
- Conecta el pin de ejecución del nodo For Each Loop al nodo Request Mesh.
- Con la malla dinámica adquirida, puedes convertir tu malla estática. Arrastra desde el pin Valor de retorno, crea un nodo Copy Mesh from Static Mesh y conecta los pines de ejecución.
- Conecta el pin de salida Elemento de matriz al pin de entrada Desde el recurso de malla estática.
Edición de la geometría
Una vez creada la malla dinámica, puedes realizar todos los procedimientos y las manipulaciones que quieras antes de aplicarlos a la malla estática. En esta secuencia, solo usarás un nodo para edición de la malla.
- Arrastra desde el pin de ejecución Correcto del nodo Copy Mesh from Static Mesh y crea un nodo Apply Simplify to TriangleCount. El nodo de simplificación intenta reducir el recuento de triángulos al valor de entrada indicado.
- Conecta el pin de salida Malla dinámica al pin de entrada de Malla objetivo.
- Arrastra la variable Recuento de triángulos al grafo y conviértela en un getter.
- Conecta el pin de salida de la variable al pin de entrada Recuento de triángulos.
- Compila (Ctrl + Alt) y guarda (Ctrl + S) el trabajo.

Cómo convertir la malla en una malla estática
Después de terminar los cambios, debes volver a convertir la malla dinámica en una malla estática para aplicar las modificaciones como corresponde.
Para volver a convertir la malla en una malla estática:
- Arrastra desde el pin de ejecución del nodo Apply Simplify to Triangle Count y añade un nodo Copy Mesh to Static Mesh.
- Conecta el pin de salida Malla objetivo al pin de entrada Desde malla dinámica.
- Conecta el pin de salida Elemento de matriz del nodo For Each Loop al pin de entrada Al recurso de malla estática. Los cambios que hayas aplicado a la malla dinámica se transfieren a la malla estática seleccionada.
- Una vez copiados los cambios en la malla estática, puedes devolver la malla temporal al grupo para reutilizar su memoria. Arrastra la variable DM_Pool al grafo y conviértela en un getter.
- Arrastra desde el pin de la variable y añade un nodo Return Mesh. Cuando se activa el evento, se liberan todas las mallas de cálculo que el grupo haya asignado.
- Conecta el pin de salida Malla dinámica al pin de entrada Malla.
- Conecta el pin de ejecución Correcto.
- Compila (Ctrl + Alt) y guarda (Ctrl + S) el trabajo.

Con el blueprint guardado y compilado, debería aparecer la opción Acciones de recursos programadas > Simplificar malla en el menú contextual cada vez que hagas clic derecho en una malla estática del nivel. Al hacer clic en la secuencia Simplificar, se reduce el número de triángulos de una malla hasta que se alcanza el número objetivo. Esta secuencia crea un proceso de trabajo para editar múltiples recursos y actualizar tu nivel rápidamente.

En lugar de copiar todos los nodos en una nueva función, puedes convertir los nodos de configuración y los nodos finales en macros. Asegúrate de recrear las variables locales correctamente.
Basándote en lo que has aprendido, prueba a realizar los siguientes ajustes:
Aplica deformación a la malla con el nodo Apply Bend Warp to Mesh.
Invierte las normales de la malla con el nodo Flip Normals.
* Convierte la secuencia en una clase Utilidad de acción de recursos. Usa el nodo Get Selected Assets en lugar de Get Selected actor.
