The media in the Media dock can be renamed, deleted, and duplicated using the Media menu.
When you’re in the Media dock, if you change the visibility status of objects in the Scene graph, or if you change the camera position in the scene, you can update previously created media by refreshing the thumbnail of the media.
You can also re-organize the order of the thumbnails in the Media dock.
From the Media menu you can also open the Media preview window, and use the Copy ambience and Paste ambience commands to copy and paste Ambience settings between images or panoramas, or the keyframes of videos and sequences.
The Media Menu
The images, videos, sequences, and panoramas inside the Media dock each have their own Media menu. In the Media menu, you can rename, delete, and duplicate media.
Opening the Media menu
Hover over the thumbnail of an image, video, sequence, or panorama.
Click the ellipsis (...) that appears above the thumbnail image.
Renaming Media
In the Media menu, select Rename.
Type the new name for the image, video, sequence, or panorama.
Deleting Media
In the Media menu select Delete, or press the Delete key.
Duplicating Media
In the Media menu, select Duplicate.
A duplicate of the media with an identical name is created.
Updating Media
The images, videos, sequences, and panoramas that you create in Twinmotion are represented as thumbnail images in the Media dock.
If you have created media, and you then make changes to the visibility status of objects in the Scene graph or change the camera position in the scene, you can update the images, panoramas, and the keyframes of videos and sequences, to reflect the changes you’ve made in the scene by refreshing the thumbnail.
To refresh a thumbnail:
Hover over the thumbnail of an image, panorama, or keyframe in a video or sequence.
Click the Refresh icon that appears above the thumbnail image.
If you create an image, video, sequence, or panorama, and then make changes to the visibility status of objects or change the camera position in the scene, you can revert the changes in the scene by clicking on the thumbnail of the media.
Organizing Media in the Media Dock
To reorganize the order in which the thumbnail images appear in the Media dock, drag and drop them to the position of your choice.
