MetaHumans you create in MetaHuman Creator (MHC) are linked to your Epic Games account. This means you’re the only user who can work on that MetaHuman.
If you want to share your MetaHumans with another user, you can export a copy of your MetaHuman as an .mhb file directly from MHC. The other user can then import this file into MHC.
Importing an .mhb file into MHC creates a copy of that MetaHuman linked to that user’s Epic Games account. You will not be able to see their changes on your copy of the MetaHuman.
The Import and Export buttons are located on the MetaHuman Creator screen, under the My MetaHumans gallery.
Exporting a MetaHuman
Click the Export button to export any MetaHuman in the My MetaHumans gallery.
As soon as you click the button, a progress bar will appear. Once the progress bar reaches completion, an .mhb file will be downloaded to your computer.
Note that you can’t import .mhb files directly in Unreal Engine. If you want to download and export a MetaHuman to Unreal Engine, you must use Quixel Bridge. Refer to the Downloading and Exporting MetaHumans section to learn more.
