The application must be installed on the mobile device before connecting it to Unreal Engine using a Live Link Face source in Live Link or Capture Manager in Live Link Hub.
The Live Link Face app is required to generate animation in real-time or offline from depth data using an iOS device (iPhone or iPad). You can also record mono-video takes using a non-depth camera, such as the rear facing camera, or an external USB camera on iPad.
The Live Link Face (Beta) app is required to generate realtime animation from an Android device. Only devices that have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (or greater) processor are currently supported.

Live Link Face must be actively running and visible in the foreground in order for it to be detected by Unreal Engine.
