Direct island links are URLs that players use to jump into an island made by you!
Every published Fortnite island has its own unique deep link that can be used anywhere a player can click on a URL; social media posts, on a website, and more.
Direct island links use a standard structure, with your island code as the unique identifier: play.fn.gg/island/xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.
You now have the option to share links directly to:
Your island
Your island page
The island code
Your Verse code path
These links make sharing information about your island much easier, whether you're sharing those links with supporters or teammates.
Using Direct Island Links
Direct links are copied from the Creator Portal and pasted whenever you promote your island. To share a link, do the following:
From the navigation menu for your island, click Share Link. This opens a series of shareable links that can be copied from the linking dropdown menu.
Select Copy direct island link to copy the link to your island. Your Deep link is copied to the clipboard.
Paste the link anywhere you can post a URL link.
Anyone who has downloaded the latest Fortnite version can click on the link from your social post and be taken straight to your island.
