Fab is Epic's open marketplace that gives all digital content creators a single destination to discover, share, buy, and sell digital assets. Fab is combining Epic's other marketplaces (Unreal Engine Marketplace, Sketchfab Store, Quixel, and ArtStation Marketplace) into one. Creators who sell their work on Fab will earn an industry-leading 88% revenue share.
The goal of Fab is to provide high quality, ready-to-use content suitable for all developers and creators, from students to AAA studios. Because of this, we only publish products that we believe provide significant value to our customers. For a better understanding of what we are looking for, please take a look at our Publisher Get Started page.
Fab is a marketplace for user-created assets. That means it will not replace either the Fortnite Item Shop or the Epic Games Store.
Content You Can Sell on Fab
At launch, Fab offers game engine formats (Unreal Engine and Unity) as well as a variety of 3D formats. As Fab grows, the list of supported formats will also grow. You can find our full list of currently supported formats on the Asset File Format and Structure Requirements page.
Available Types of Licenses
Fab offers Creative Commons licenses for free assets, and Standard licenses for both free and for-purchase assets. Standard licenses are available at two tiers: Personal and Professional. For more information on license types, check out the License & Pricing section of our Publisher Get Started page.
