Apply your branding to the PV service

The Branding tab enables you to customize the appearance of the PV service to match your brand and provide a seamless experience for parents. You can customize the banner, favicon, font, button color, and theme that the PV service uses for parent-directed emails and verification webviews.

To customize your PV service branding, click the Dashboard tab, select the required product, and then click the Branding tab.

As you edit the branding properties, the preview on the right-hand side automatically refreshes to demonstrate your changes:

The banner image appears at the top of all KWS emails and webviews directed to the parent. If you do not specify a custom banner image, KWS displays a SuperAwesome banner, as shown in the default preview:

Restrictions:

• The uploaded image file must be a jpeg or png file.
• The image must be 720 x 250 pixels (width x height).
• No blatant plagiarism or copyright violation.
• The image must not be obscene.
• The image must have some direct relation to your product or organization.

To upload a custom banner image:

1. Click on the dotted rectangle to open your file browser.
2. Select the required image, and then click Open. Alternatively, drag the image from your file browser onto the dotted rectangle. The preview on the right-hand side automatically displays the custom banner.

To change your custom banner image:

1. Click on the existing image or click Edit. The file browser opens.
2. Select the required image, or drag it onto the existing image.

The favicon appears on the browser tab of the PV service webviews that KWS presents to the parent. If you do not specify a custom favicon, KWS displays the SuperAwesome favicon.

• The image must have some direct relation to your product or organization.

To display a custom favicon:

1. Click on the dotted rectangle to open your file browser.
2. Select the required image, and then click Open.

Alternatively, drag the image from your file browser onto the dotted rectangle.

To change your custom favicon:

1. Click on the existing image or click Edit. The file browser opens.
2. Select the required image, or drag it onto the existing image.

This is the color that KWS uses for buttons in the PV service emails and webviews directed to parents. It defaults to blue (R=41, G=138, B=232).

To specify or change a custom primary color, click on the colored button. The color picker is displayed:

Use the color picker to select a new color. As you change the color, the preview on the right-hand side automatically demonstrates the custom color.

KWS uses this font in the PV service webviews. The default font is 'Open Sans'.

To change the font for the PV service webviews, select a font from the dropdown menu. The preview on the right-hand side automatically demonstrates the selected font.

The theme is the background shade of the PV service emails and webviews directed to parents. The available options are 'Light Theme' and 'Dark Theme'. The default is 'Light Theme'.

To change the theme, select from the dropdown menu. The preview on the right-hand side automatically demonstrates the selected theme.

Test the PV service on your product, using dummy email addresses and verification credentials.
