Review and accept Epic Games Store agreements

Overview

In order to distribute your product on the Epic Games Store, your organization owner must read and accept the appropriate agreements. You cannot use the Epic Games Store publishing tools until this step is complete.

  • You must be 18 or older to accept the required agreements and distribute your product on the Epic Games Store. If your organization owner is unable to accept agreements on behalf of your legal entity, create a private discussion on our Developer Support site for assistance.
  • If Epic Games makes a major version update to the End User License agreement, the new agreement must be accepted in order for your organization to continue using the publishing tools. You will not be able to access the tools until this step is complete.
  • When Epic Games updates a specific feature agreement that you have accepted, you will be notified when you next attempt to access the publishing tools. Your organization owner must accept the updated agreement in order to maintain use of the associated feature.

Review and Accept Agreements

You can review the Epic Games Store agreements at any time through the Agreements section of the Dev Portal.

Note that this section contains a number of agreements related to both the Epic Games Store and other services offered by Epic Games. The following agreements are pertinent to the Epic Games Store publishing tools:

To read and accept an agreement, follow the steps below. This process can also be used to review or download previously completed agreements.

  1. In the Dev Portal, navigate to Organization > Agreements.
  2. Locate the appropriate agreement and click Review.
  3. Review the terms of the agreement. You must view the entire agreement before it can be accepted.
  4. (Optional): To save an offline copy of the agreement, click Download Files on the right-side panel.
  5. To complete the agreement, click Accept.

Notes:

  • Agreements are only available only in English.
  • When you accept an agreement, your name and the timestamp of your signature are recorded.
  • While any member of an organization can read an agreement, agreements can only be accepted by the organization owner. If your organization owner is unable to accept an agreement for any reason, contact support by creating a private discussion on our Developer Support site.

Review Your Organization’s Agreement History

The Agreements section of the Dev Portal also provides an overview of your organization’s historical interaction with each agreement. The following details are available for each agreement:

  • The specific versions of the agreement that your organization has accepted.
  • The organization member who accepted each version.
  • The date and time each version was accepted.

To review a specific agreement's history, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Organization > Agreements.
  2. Locate the appropriate agreement and click History. Then, review the details as needed.
  3. (Optional): To save a copy of a specific agreement version, click the Download icon within its row.
